Putting a together a good CV is the first step in the right direction for you and your career. Remember, before a potential employer sees you they will have to see your CV first. Therefore your CV will be the first opportunity you have to sell yourself. Please also bear in mind that employers may get a number of CVs put across their desk on a weekly basis so it's important to make yours stand out. Make it concise and not too lengthy. Up to 3 pages is fine as nobody wants to read a biography. Think about the message you want to put across in your CV. You are a true sales performer. So highlight this in your CV. Talk about your yearly sales targets and your performance against target i.e. whilst at ABC and Co. I had a yearly target of £2milliion. Year 1 achieved £2.2 million. Year 2 achieved £2.4 million etc. If you have not achieved target for whatever reason you can add a brief summary as to why but clear concise information on your results is important. Make sure your personal information and contact details are easy to find or you may never get the call to attend the interview in the first place.
